PricePicker Pocket PC 1.1 Product reviews
" Comparison shopping can be a real hassle, but something all of us engages in. After the first experience of buying something and finding it for substantially less somewhere else, we begin the tiring hunt through web and retail outlet alike to find the best bargain. PricePicker looks like it may be the answer to the question "Can‘t I Do This Faster???" when it comes to this price hunting. The new version boasts an easy to understand UI and the ability to export its findings to CSV. No comparison shopping needed for the software though - its fairly nice priced at $7.85!"

Description
PricePicker will help check out the best prices, and compare merchants. It allows you to quickly enter and view price information. It also has a highly intuitive user interface. PricePicker instantly categorizes and sorts Products in the order you define. You‘ll have to endure no more endless searches through a product list!
With PricePicker, you can instantly key in the prices of Products advertised in newspapers, offered by web-based merchants, or the stores that you shop at regularly.
How It Works
Imagine that you need to compare the prices between local supermarkets. Let‘s use a beer, Heineken Pilsener 33d, as an example. Please note that we don‘t give hints here on how to buy beer, just how to use PricePicker to figure out which beer is the best buy.
First, you need to create a product title. PricePicker provides two hierarchy levels of product description: Product and subcategories of that product. The program helps you keep different product groups in a compact format. In our example, we‘ll name the Product Beer and use Heineken Pilsener 33d as a Subcategory. It‘s obvious that under the Product Beer one can add several different kinds and brands of related products.
The next step is to add names of local supermarkets. You can also add other useful information about these supermarkets, including a full address, phone, and so on. In our example, you will see four supermarkets: Albert Heijn, C1000, Edah, and Konmar.
Now we‘re ready to enter all the prices we collected. It is a straightforward, simple action. The prices should be entered for all four supermarkets.
As soon as all the prices for all the supermarkets are registered, we can (with a couple of taps on the Pocket PC screen) get a clear picture about the real state of market prices for Heineken Pilsener 33d.
To view prices, and then make your the best buy decision, you need just tap on the "Views-Where To Buy" menu item, or tap the "Where To Buy" graphical button on the main view of PricePicker. The next step is to choose a product you are interested in from the product list, tap the button Next. You‘ll get a price list for the product. Compare prices, and make your choice!
You can collect prices on your Desktop PC
The PricePicker allows you to export prices in a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. CSV is just an ASCII text file where lines organized so each column value is separated by a comma from the next column value, and each row starts a new line. The export file will be saved on your Pocket PC (in a folder of your choice: Business or Personal) with the extension .csv that is reserved for a CSV file type. This file can be easily exported to your Desktop PC via the ActiveSync program or "manually" via Windows Explorer.
